Waiting for this Documentary, as “Pirates of Silicon Valley” was my inspiration to be in San Jose, CA from Karachi, Pakistan!
Objectified: A Documentary Film by Gary Hustwit
Do you think that #Facebook is “Borrowing” Interface? or “Stealing” it from the #Twitter? I think they tried to Steal it but ended up with the earlier.

If you are like me, you would prefer many Open Source SDKs, and there is always some minor catches here and there, I noticed in Log4Net SDK Reference the document says use “;” semi-colon to seprate the multiple addresses, but guess what? IT’S WRONG! … use “,” instead, this dude’s blog helped me.
Fool me once, shame on —shame on you. Fool me — you can’t get fooled again
Kindle on iPhone: I was waiting for this app. Two quick thing I noted 1) no landscape reading 2) no pinch n zoom! That’s a big bummer if you are reading heavy illustrated book. If anyone know how to do it. Please comment on it. Thanks.
Tweetie: a very cool app if you are new or veteran user of Twitter. There are cool feature hiden in to this tiny app. It allows you to InstaPaper the whole page, search the user on the fly. The annoying factor that I noticed is the Tweet Management. It should make my “Following Tweets” in folder like style. This way I can see the specific tweet related to my friends in one screen without getting distraction.
For example on the homepage I can see the List of my Followings with their latest tweet but once I tap on it, it allows me to view their complete tweets as it showing right now, but all the tweets I am following in one screen and distracting me !
iPod: The iPod app on iPhone sometime act little weird, I get little frustrated when I don’t see the full track name scrolling in my “Now Playing” screen of this app. Shouldn’t be this the part of the UI or something I am missing!?
ToyCamera: I like the app feature and the surprise bit, unfortunately the small bit related to it’s Icon regarding configuration puts me into the Thinking Mode for few seconds. Visual Conventiona are best when they applied appropriatelly.
Amazon App: Like the simplicity of app. But there are few little UI bumps. Rest of the User Experience is awesome.
TouchToDo: The most easy to use yet full with feature app. I noticed that setting up this app according to your need is very fast and elegant only few stuff put me in thinking mode else it was super easy. I will post more screen-shot about The Thinking Mode in my next blog post.
So no copyright argument by Apple … Yet!
Google Map: Showing the “Distance in Miles” ib front of a searched items would be great if it is searched by using the “current location” feature.
If you are bargain hunter. I found the captioned website very easy and detail to browse. Loved the browsing experience
Newsdesk: The overall experience to browse the News is remarkable. Unfortunately when time comes to view other category, it put the user in a Think Mode, where user is blankly staring the screen to get updated “suddenly” but after little bit of staring too much then a user realized that it actually workin after viewing the top-center position right beneath the App title. This is awful lot of staring.
CupCake: UI should be that tasty and hint of shine as moon in this pic with the cool background of bridge and sky. Remember to keep the main subject more prominent. In our case Cupcake!!!
